RODRIGO BLAAS

Co-Founder | Creative Director

Rodrigo Blaas is an Emmy-winning director, producer and animator with over 20 years of experience. He worked on successful animated films such as Blue Sky Studios Ice Age or Pixar´s Finding Nemo, Ratatouille and The Incredibles. He also was the show runner on the Guillermo del Toro acclaimed series Trollhunters, for Dreamworks and Netflix, which won six Emmy awards.

Rodrigo Blaas recently wrote and directed an original Star Wars short film for the series Visions, premiering on Disney+ in May 2023.

CECILE HOKES

Co-Founder | Head of Studio

Cecile Hokes has produced Rodrigo Blaas’ independent projects, such as his first short film, Alma and his VR project One morning, and most recently, Sith, part of Star Wars Visions. Beside her career in animation, Cecile has extensively worked promoting French cinema abroad, first at Unifrance in New York, and through her collaboration with French diplomacy both in Spain and in San Francisco.

She has also participated multiple times with the San Francisco Film Society on their annual international film festival, as well as with the American French film festival in Los Angeles

JONATAN CATALÁN

Partner | D.P. & Look Dev Supervisior

Jonatan Catalán is an Emmy-winning look development supervisor, director of photography and cg supervisor with almost 20 years of experience. He has created unique looks in animation projects such as The Bad Guys, the Oscar-winning short film The Windshield Whipper, and recently the Star Wars short film from the Visions series.

For the past decade, he worked the look identity of the main characters for leading companies including DreamWorks Animation, Netflix Animation, Paramount Animation or Mikros Animation.

CARLOS SALGADO

Art Director

With more than 15-year career as a Concept Artist and Designer, has worked on films such as Pacific Rim, Colossal, Color Out of Space, Open Windows, Automata...
Parallel to his work as Concept Artists, Carlos has directed multiple 2D animation projects as opening titles or animation sequences in Spanish films such as Gernika, Zip y Zap 2 or Torrente V. In 2022 he finished his short film Wayback (2020), nominated for 3 Quirino awards and a candidate for the Goya awards.

His most recent work is the art direction for Sith, the short film directed by Rodrigo Blaas part of the Star Wars Visions series
